Two bedrooms with double beds, a sofa bed in the living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen you are welcome to cook in. Everything is on the ground floor, with its own entrance.

Skylark Home sits just north of the Kabini, the river that runs through the heart of Wayanad, among coconut palms and village homes.

Evenings under the lights
The house sits in a garden of fruit trees and stepping-stone paths, with a swing for the children. When it gets dark, strings of lights come on over the sit-out and the covered dining area. Bring dinner outside, or light the barbecue.

Mananthavady is the gateway to north Wayanad. Spend the day out on the river, in the forest or up in the hills, and be back for dinner in the garden.
